SHINE the Salon

If you are looking for a full service salon that will leave you feeling gorgeous both inside and out, then SHINE the salon is a must visit! It is located in downtown Fallon on Maine Street in the historic Churchill Bank Building. Not only will the amazingly talented ladies make sure you’re beautified, but you can also sit for a spell on the rustic balcony overlooking Maine Street while enjoying coffee, tea or the signature Shine Sangria!

Darcie Spero, the owner of SHINE, was raised in Fallon but left for college and various adventures on both the west and east coasts.  After finishing Cosmetology school and getting licensed in California, she worked at a spa for a while in Eldorado Hills, but decided her heart belonged in Fallon and wanted to build her own business near family. After moving back and working with long-time friends, Darcie was introduced to Kelly Cardenas at a hair show, which turned out to be life changing. Modeling SHINE after his salons, the doors opened in 2015 and there has been no looking back.

The talented ladies that call SHINE home are continually improving their craft in order to provide the highest level of service to their clients. There is also an atmosphere of teamwork that fills this country chic salon. Don’t be surprised at an appointment to be taken care of by everyone at work in the building.

At SHINE, they take care of women, men and kids of all ages. They specialize in hair cutting and creative color, nails and spa pedicures and skincare including incredible facials, waxing and eyelash extensions. They are available for appointments Tuesday through Friday and some Saturdays. Once scheduled, you will be their top priority and won't have any wait time!
